How to read the table
- Price (trend) is a sparkline of recorded prices, newest on the right — green falling, red rising. Expand a row for the full chart. Snapshots are appended weekly and on request; most rows currently have a single Sept-2026 point.
- Sept 2026 is a DRAM-shortage peak. A 32 GB DDR5-6000 CL30 kit that was ~$105 in late 2024 is $400–$580 now, and prices move 2–20% a month. $/GB is the comparison that survives that.
- Profile — EXPO is AMD's one-click overclock profile, XMP Intel's; most modern kits carry both. JEDEC only kits run at the stock standard speed. The AM5 sweet spot is DDR5-6000 CL30; Intel tolerates faster.
- IC / die matters to tuners (SK hynix A-die / M-die overclock best). Filled only where the vendor documents it; Corsair / Kingston / Patriot rotate dies under one part number, so those read unknown.
- Height — check against your CPU cooler; low-profile (≤ 35 mm) kits clear almost any air cooler.
