Cloud required means mapping, scheduling or starting a clean needs the vendor app/cloud. Local-capable rows either need no app at all (bump-and-go budget bots) or can be rooted with Valetudo for fully offline control. Matter-only robots still need the vendor app for maps, so they stay cloud-required.
Navigation — LiDAR maps rooms without imaging them; a camera adds object recognition (cables, pet waste) at the cost of a lens pointed at your floor. Obstacle-avoidance rating is the practical outcome.
Pickup % are RTINGS-style deep-clean figures from memory (±8 pts) and n/a for the newest models; suction Pa is the marketing number and correlates loosely.
